Homework

When I think of Western representations of China, what comes to mind are some figures in movies which that describe China in Western ways; such as The Last Emperor, which reflects a general idea about China's weak and pale attributes through the characters.

My reasons for taking this class are the subject's attractiveness to me, foreign lecturers, and I think this is a good opportunity to study English.

In this class, I would like to read some books about religion, because there are so many people who consider that Chinese have no faith or they don't have some belief in God in their whole life lives. This is best learned through films, I hope.
