First notebook entry: Introducing myself
Hi, i am Julie, an outgoing girl come from China. I am learning English now and the points reasons i am on here come here are to improve my English, make friends from English speaking countries, and travel abroad someday. My native language is Chinese and i grew up in a peaceful and small town. There are so many things i enjoy that i can't introduce these detail explain them all in detail, like playing sports, drawing, making friends, and so on. Finally, i believe we will create a wonderful memory.
Hi Julie!
Looks good! Remember to capitalize the first letter in the first word of each sentence. Typically, the personal pronoun I is capitalized in formal writing. However, in informal writing it is okay to use the lowercase i.
I changed the word points to reasons because you would use the word point for sharing your opinion or ideas. It is better to use the word reasons since you are sharing your motive or explanation for using this website.
In English, you don’t introduce details, you introduce new people or new ideas. You explain details, that is you give people clear information about something.
I hope that this is helpful for you!
Best,
Ashia
