I think you can answer this question in 3 aspects. The 1st one is there are so many people would lose their life in the war even though the morden war needn't so many soldiers. As the consequence, their family would be deeply grieved, the mental damage would remain for a pretty long duration in a family and the contry. The 2nd one is the economic effect of the country. The government should spend so much money to support the war. This is the immediately burden. I think the economic influence after war is more serious. There are so many factories will shut down, the farmer couldn't buy fertilizer and sell their products. The inflation would be rampant. And after a long time, the people is afraid to invest and would lose confidence of the business. The last one is the natrual environment. The chemical weapons have used in the morden war, no matter the air and water pollution, and the ground would be contaminated during the war, the heavy metal materials would blend into the soil. People couldn't live and cultivate anything on it.
