When you talk, try to make sure that your words are better than your silence Some people criticize me because I´m not too talkative like others. Sometimes I feel bad because I know I should try to be more spontaneous, more sociable; but there are many people who talk just to talk. They open their mouths only to say stupid things. At least, I always think what I will say, in order to avoid make people waste their time listening nonsenses. There was a girl in my class who used to talk all the time, sometimes she did not know what to say, and then she repeated exactly what other people said. She always tried to look intelligent and studious, but made classes longer because EVERY TIME someone said something she came to add another thing, even if it was not important. I love to ask when I have a doubt or to talk when I know I can add something useful, but when I know my comments will not enrich the conversation I prefer to be quiet and let others talk. I think when you don´t have an enriching comment to say, you should shut up and let yourself learn something from others. This is the best time to learn. We have one mouth and two ears; it means we should hear more and talk only what is necessary.
