"Carneiro ó Espeto"

The "Festa do Carneiro ó Espeto" This is a gastronomic festival in Galicia, and officially declared "of tourist interest". which It  is held in the oak woods of St. Lucia on the last Sunday of July. Noted for its peculiarity , it is the only of its kind to be held in Galicia. In this festival, the mascot where the main protagonist is the ram. The way Its mode of preparation goes back to the twenties , when a retired a group of Moraña city inhabitants, or "morañeses" es retired in Argentina. With the help of a young Argentine, they prepared several picnics feasts on the banks of the river Umia , in which they cooked a "pampero", or prairie-style roasted sheep . The success was overwhelming and it became a tradition typically morañesa tradition over the years.  Today it is enjoyed on most special occasions t tasted in every celebrations ( baptisms , weddings , celebrations, etc. . ) , Which decided to Its popularity grew when the "Festa da responsible Xuventude" (the Youth Council) and St. Lucia organized a gastronomic feast around the celebrated from successful "espeto" ram, using it as the centerpiece of these celebrations , and s Soon with the passing of the years, it would become one of the most renowned gastronomic celebrations in Galicia , attracting increasing numbers of diners participants. The Festa do Carneiro or Spit takes place in a unique setting , in the oak woods of St. Lucia , where lambs are roasted slowly over eight hours , in an open-air setting channel on a double crossed on an iron structure , placed in circles around the oak coals . The organizers of the party placed prior to the day of the celebration around the oak , tables and benches for groups of 20 people , where they can get together a total of 3,000 to mealtime . The day before the celebration, the organizers of the party set up tables that seat 20 persons each for a total of 3000 expected participants.  These groups of people have to order their meal in advance the lot.  The meal consists of of a portion of spit-fire ram, to spit, spicy pork pies, and cod with raisins , wine, bread and coffee. People who do not order the lot attend the main meal can still taste this dish in different council catering establishments . However, I must say that the days before For several days leading up to the party, there is the party organized a series of cultural events , sports , etc. . that make the joy of morañeses , for morañesas and visitors to come enjoy the evening festivals .

A curious, the streets of Moraña are called for numbers.... Street one,street two,strett four,etc... Only has nine streets. Is very small.I think that there are a people in America where the streets for numbers same name as  Curiously, the street names in Moraña are numbered (like 1st St., 2nd St., etc.), just like in American cities (although Moraña is a small town.)
