Learning natural flow of the language There are many aspects to learning a language like grammar, vocabulary, formal and colloquial styles of writing or speaking, etc. Mastering a language involves reading, writing and speaking a language without any difficulty. One can be said to have mastered a particular language when they can use it eloquently. Many people think if they know how to build a sentence without any grammatical mistakes, it would be enough. However, this view/opinion is wrong. If we want to use any language effectively, we should learn it through and through. Sometimes, we may be grammatically correct while speaking or writing, yet the sentences sound unnatural. As I am a native Marathi speaker, I have seen some grammatically correct but unnatural Marathi sentences and I know how bizarre they sound. I always help the people who wish to learn my native language, Marathi. There is one Marathi learner on Italki who is very determined and consistent in his efforts to learn this language. (Hats off to him! I really wish to be an avid learner like him.) However, he is pushed back by the differences in natural flow of different languages. What I want to point out here is the thing that vocabulary should not be the only focus while learning a language. One should also consider how a language goes naturally. Otherwise, all our efforts of learning languages will be futile. So, according to me, "the particular nature of a language" becomes an important aspect while learning it. Hence, I request all the native speakers to help other people understand it better. For the learners, I would like to say that sometimes, this thing becomes quite frustrating, but don't give up. Get help from the native speakers, from the teachers if possible, who are naturally very good at that language. This is it for today. I hope someone will correct this entry for me. Thanks for your attention.
