My grandfather [547] There is a Chinese proverb, which says "家有一老如有一宝"， means a family with an old person has a living treasure of gold. I am going to talk about my grandfather, who is in his early nineties. He has been living in my hometown, a small village in south China, all his life. Since I am living and working in Beijing, the only time I can see him is spring festivals, the most important occasion all year round in China. When I am with him, he often tells stories that happened to him when he was young. In his thirties, he killed a wolf, which was very dangerous to young children in the community at that time. Actually, he talks about this story over and over again but I do not feel tired of it. He also has a good sense of humor, and makes me laugh most time. At the same time, he is an old man with great persistent and frequently gives me much encouragement on study and work. My remorseless character is partly due to his influence imposed me. These are the main reasons why I like to spend time with him.
