There are already good corrections below. I'd just like to add that "kakak" means elder sister, not brother. "Abang" = elder brother, "adik lelaki" = younger brother.
Mereka dari mana? (Where are they from?)
-Kamu dari mana?
(Where are you from?)
-Saya orang Indonesia. Nama saya Agusnin.
(I'm Indonesian. My name is Agusnin.)
-Kamu tinggal di mana?
(Where do you live?)
-Saya tinggal di Jepun. Kalau dia?
(I live in Japan. What about her?)
-Dia juga, suaminya wartawan.
(She too, her husband is a journalist.)
-Mereka tinggal di mana?
(Where do they live?)
-Anaknya dari mana?
(Where does his child come from?)
-Kakaknya Abangnya/adik lelakinya wartawan.
(His brother is a journalist.)
-Jiranganya orang Jepun.
(His neighbor is Japanese.)
-Tetapi dia tinggal di Indonesia.
(But he lives in Indonesia.)
Mereka berasal dari mana? (Where are they from?)
-Kamu berasal dari mana?
(Where are you from?)
-Saya orang Indonesia. Nama saya Agusnin.
(I'm Indonesian. My name is Agusnin.)
-Kamu tinggal di mana?
(Where do you live?)
-Saya tinggal di Jepun. Kalau bagaimana dengan dia?
(I live in Japan. What about her?)
-Dia juga, suaminya adalah seorang wartawan.
(She too, her husband is a journalist.)
-Mereka tinggal di mana?
(Where do they live?)
-Anaknya berasal dari mana?
(Where does his child come from?)
-Kakaknya adalah seorang wartawan.
(His brother is a journalist.)
-Jiranganya Jirannya adalah/merupakan(much more appropriate for this sentence) orang Jepun.
(His neighbor is Japanese.)
-Tetapi dia tinggal di Indonesia.
(But he lives in Indonesia.)
My Comments:
1.Berasal is more commonly used to specify the "place of origin".
Saya berasal dari Jepun = I'm from Japan/I'm originated from Japan.
2. adalah = is/are ( we don't have plural or singular verb). Eg;
dia adalah = he is
mereka adalah = they are
3. Seorang is basically "a" in english. But it is used for a human. For an object we used sebuah/sekeping/sebutir/sebiji/etc depending on the shape or size of the object. For an animal, we used seekor.
Noticed the recurring usage of Se?
Se is actually a short form of satu(One). So,
Seorang is actually satu orang = a/one people
dua orang = two people
tiga orang = three people
Mereka datang dari mana? (Where are they from?)
-Kamu (or "awak" or "kau") dari mana?
(Where are you from?)
-Saya orang Indonesia. Nama saya Agusnin.
(I'm Indonesian. My name is Agusnin.)
-Kamu tinggal di mana?
(Where do you live?)
-Saya tinggal di Jepun. Kalau dia (Kamu /Awak/ Kau pula?)?
(I live in Japan. What about her?)
-Dia juga, suaminya seorang wartawan.
(She too, her husband is a journalist.)
-Mereka tinggal (or "menetap") di mana?
(Where do they live?)
-Anaknya dari mana?
(Where does his child come from?)
-Kakaknya seorang wartawan.
(His brother is a journalist.)
-Jiranganya (Jirannya merupakan) orang Jepun.
(His neighbor is Japanese.)
-Tetapi dia tinggal (or "menetap") di Indonesia.
(But he lives in Indonesia.)
-----------
"tinggal" is quite informal. "menetap" sounds more formal and could be used in everyday life. Both words mean the same.
hope it helps! (:
