Human birds While some people swing their entire lives on the same branch, some others stay in a constant flight. Human birds

While some people swing their entire lives on the same branch, some others stay in a constant flight. (what about the in-betweeners, the excluded middle?) If I had to put myself in one of these two groups, I guess it would already be already (just word order) too late to get a nest nearby... (single word)
