Conceptual - This History book is very conceptual.
Academic - I am in my second academic course now.
Transcribe - He had to transcribe all he heard in the meeting.
Summary - The main information was summarized in the report.
Compromise - They agreed on a compromise that they won´t travel next week.

 

The problem with your second sentence is that it doesn't show the meaning of the word.
