In a small village, the church clock suddenly stopped which lead caused a lot of trouble, but no one could explain why it stopped. Soon after, the vicar climbed the clock tower, hoping to find the reason. To his surprise, he saw hundreds and thousands of bees flying all around. The clock had been invaded by bees. These little creatures must have made the clock as their new home, for, the whole thing was full of honey and wax. To make the clock work again, a bee keeper had to be called, because the bees would be dangerous for those repairing work the clock. Wearing the specially-made protective clothes, the bee keeper picked out the queen bee with his eagle eyes and removed it. The other bees then followed their queen while she was being taken out of the clock tower to the keeper’s yard. The clock, could then be cleaned, which still proved difficult and time-consuming there was so much honey and wax. Still, by late afternoon, the clock was finally working again.
