Real Life Witches Last weekend, I went to the cinema to watch the film “Cinderella”. I thought it would be very boring to tell Cinderella’s story since most of us have read this tale. So, I decided to talk about real life witches, like Cinderella’s stepmother. By the way, Catte Blanchet’s performance in this movie was awesome. Witches are everywhere! We all have met at least one witch like Lady Tremaine in our lives, at work, in school, at church, etc. The meanest woman I have ever met was my first boss, a woman who pursued an MBA in Switzerland. It seemed like she came back to Colombia thinking that she was superior to any of those who have not studied abroad. Some of her quotes still linger in my mind like: “Shut up! Your idea is very stupid. At this company you have to do just whatever I order you.” “Unlike you, I get paid for thinking”. I also remember when she once stated at lunch that she paid for the housework of her big house to be done because doing the chores is a task for dumb people. She described herself as a very honest worker. Even though, once her assistant while being drunk at a company’s party confessed to us to being hired because this lady altered the results of selection process. I have to say that I have not met any other bosses as arrogant, humiliating and bitchy as her. No wonder her husband had gotten divorced her the previous year I started working for that company. In December last year I was called to work again for that company, and I told the lady on the phone “I would only work there if you assured me that I won’t have Mrs X as my boss”. All in all, I think the world would be a better place if there were more people as humble, kind, honest and generous as Cinderella. There should be fewer witches like Cinderella’s stepmother, less unhelpful people like Cinderella’s stepsisters and more helpful and unselfish people like Cinderella’s fairy godmother.

Perfect Camilo, like Kat I can not see any mistakes, I also agree with her recommendation to change ''gotten''

One day I hope to write a story without making a mistake.

Kind regards

This is great! I only have one small correction:

"No wonder her husband had gotten divorced her the previous year before I started working for that company."

I agree. Everything is relative. I would like to see her clean. She would take much longer because she would not know the shortcuts that a person who cleans for a living would know.
