Hola, me llamo Julie. Soy de Estados Unidos. Tengo 32 años. Estoy feliz y nerviosa.

"Estoy feliz" is ok in Spain, but you also can say "Estoy contenta". Many native speakers would prefer to say "estoy contento/a" instead of "estoy feliz", but I am a native spekars and I use "estoy feliz" and "estoy contento" and both are ok.

"Estoy nerviosa" means you feel nervous. So it's perfectly ok if that's the idea you want to express. Someone points that "nerviosa" is not very used in Spain. I think he might wanted to say that it's not usual in this context, in an introduction. Otherwise "nervioso/a" it's a extremely common word in Spanish.
