Epiphyllum - "Queen Of The Night" My favorite flower is Epiphyllum. Epiphyllum are epiphytic cacti. Some call them orchid cactus. Epiphyllum has many colors, but I like white the most.There are very few flowers bloom at night as Epiphyllum. If you want to see it bloom, you must pay much attention because Epiphyllum bloom I have read a story about this flower. In a country, there was a flower in a small village. It is beautiful, big and very fragrant. But it didn't bloom. People call it " Quynh" or " Epiphyllum" .Because of the rumors about the flower, the King want to see it. But the King's castle is very far from the village. So on the travel, the King was wasting a lot of money, killed many people for his amusement. Therefore, everyone hate him. The night before the day that the King arrived, a man had sneaked to see "Quynh". Miraculously, it bloomed at that night, so only the man can see it bloom. When the King arrived, he was angry because the flower had wilted. A later time, the King was overthrown. And the man who the only one can see Epiphyllum bloom became the King. From then on, people say that only good person can see Epiphyllum bloom. Because Epiphyllum just bloom at night and wilt on next morning, you will have to pay much attention and many time to see. Each flower has its own meaning. The story behind Epiphyllum really makes me feel so interesting and love it.
