Movie review: Moulin Rouge This film is partly a romantic film and partly a musical and it’s a movie that hasn’t a previous part. Baz Luhrmann (He’s an actor who borned in Australia) is the director, he choose for be the main actors to the actress Nicole (she is Satine, the girl of the love story) and Ewan McGregor (Satine’s lover) The movie talks about a love that is imposible because Satine is a prostitute who works at the moulin rouge (one of the most important cabarets in Paris), when she’s doing a show she meet Christian who is an artist from London. Their love is imposible because the Monroth’s duke wants to get married to Satine and he do everything that he can to difficult their relationship. Finally, Christian and Satine can stay together, but a illnes kills Satine. I liked when Satine met Christian because is a funny momento and I didn’t like when Satine died because she’s my favourite actress in this movie I love this film because it has some funny moments, a love story and a part with drama.
