what does 破双开 mean in the following sentence:

中国反腐 : 上海”首虎“艾宝俊破双开

中国反腐 : 上海”首虎“艾宝俊被双开， not 破，it is 被。

双开=开除党籍和开除公职

被双开= be sacked from the party membership and the civil servant

Hello, Alaric Visigoth. This is Bill from China. As for your sentence, firstly, here is a wrong chinese character-破， it should be "被", it is passive voice; and then the "双开" mean the guy was fired by government and expulsion from the Communist Party at the same time. Hope this can help you.
