Constance's notebook entry: Mar 29, 2011 The Weakness of the "Strawberry Generation" The Strawberry Generation refers to the young adults who are born after the 1980s. In China, nowadays, the Strawberry Generation is now has become the main group of young adults. And that's the reason why the society have so much worry about them. I also worried it much, because I'm a member of it myself. The Strawberry Generation has appeared many problems, and this has become a issue in society. First and the foremost, the Strawberry Generation lack a sense of responsibility. They don't have the willing to bear the burden which they have to. I hope we can learn to take the burden one day. Secondly, the Strawberry Generation is too frail to face the press. At the modern society, one may face many chances and also strong competitions. These elements have pushed the Strawberry Generation to fight for their fortune. Last but not the least, they usually ill-prepared to have a fortune. They just live a cozy life by use the money of their parents. That really caused a big problem on their way of finding jobs. I hold that these parents need to let their children to have the opportunities to have a job. In the end, I must make it loudly that the Strawberry Generation need have more room to have their own fortune and build their own styles.
