Kim's email
YOU HAVE RECEIVED THIS EMIL FROM KIM,AN ENGLISH SPEAKING FRIEND, WHO IS COMMING TO STUDY AT YOUR COLLEGE.
“I START STUDYING AT YOUR COLLEGE NEXT TERM. COULD YOU GIVE ME ANY ADVICE ABOUT THE SPORTS FACILITIES, BOTH AT THE COLLEGE AND IN THE TOWN? I’M REALLY INTERESTED IN SWIMMING AND I’D LIKE TO DO A TEAM SPORT AS WELL.IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT SPORT AT THE COLLEGE I SHOULD KNOW?
THANKS,
KIM
Dear Kim,
I was glad to hear from you. Your letter was a wonderful surprise , I haven’t heard from you for ages.
I think that I can help you, because in fact, practising sport is my greatest passion.
Ok, let’s go then. You’ll can practise almost any sort of sport, both at the college and in the Town.
Each of the sport facilities are exactly same. The only differences between them are that the sport facilities at the college are only for students, so you will need your student card, don’t forget it never! However, these one in the Town is for everyone, but this can be a drawback as often there are too many people there. The Another difference is that the sports facilities at the college are next to our campus, so you don’t need to use the car. Futhermore, the swimming pool at college has better lanes for swimming.
In my opinion, I would rather go to the college one rather than the Town one. The first ones are all advantages. ?
In both of sport facilities, you will find a wide range of different sports and outdoor activities, including team sports; such as football, volleyball, basketball, hockey, rugby and so on.
I don't think that I haven’t forgotten anything more that you need to know. Anyway, if I do remember something, I’ll phone you rather than writing to you. I think that would be faster.
I hope to see you soon. Take care!
Yours faithfully
Dear Kim,
Ps: Your friend will be happy to hear from you. Good luck.
