Technology has changed the way we shop and spend our money. Nowadays, the easy access to the internet allows us to shop online. Some people think that shopping online has a lot of benefits. Firstly, you can save money. When you shop online you can find the same product at a lower price than on the high-street. Shopping online can also save time. Nowadays, people are busy, and often do not have enough time to go to a shopping centre for a particular product. Shopping online is easy and quick, and you can do it anywhere with your smart phone or tablet.
Another advantage is that you can find an online review of the product you would like to buy; this is both reassuring and convenient. Nowadays, you can buy almost anything online, for example music, books and DVDs.
However, there are some disadvantages associated with online shopping; one disadvantage is the possible theft and fraud of bank details by online hackers. Another disadvantage is that you cannot try items, for example clothing, on. This is why some people do what is known as 'showrooming'- whereby people try items on in store and then buy online.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that shopping online is an amazing way of shopping; but people must be aware of the problems and risks involved. <font style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">It depends on us what we choose. </font><font style="background-color: rgb(0, 255, 255);">- I would leave this bit out. :) </font>
