I attended a Japanese Mochitsuki event. Mochitsuki is pounding steamed rice to make rice cakes. Mochi means rice cake, Tsuku means pounding (or to pound). Then we ate the rice cake. It has three flavors, soy sauce, Kinako, or Anko. It was good. In Japan, we eat rice cakes for New Year's.

I love rice cakes. I hope they were delicious! :)

I joined took part in Japanese event of Mochitsuki. It is a Japanese event. Mochitsuki is the pounding of steamed rice to make rice into a cake form.
