It has to be "Ghosts!!" In this TV series, Alison, the sole heir to Barton Manor, unexpectedly acquired the ability to see ghosts when she fell from a window. She then had numerous amusing stories(encounters) with those ghosts in Barton. Although the plots may be childish sometimes, its characters of flesh and blood, as well as its light and fun dialogues left a deep impression on me. Furthermore, I not only laughed out loud while watching this TV series, but I also improved/advanced my English listening as well as speaking skills. I gained deep insights into some life philosophies that the show conveyed. For instance: -It's so easy to make assumptions about people and then you find you don't really know them at all. Half the time, we don't even know ourselves. I suppose that we all have our little secrets. -Time is there to be enjoyed, not killed. If you're doing it right, you don't even notice the time. -There are times when one must go against the grain, make one's own decisions rather than simply following orders(others). As far as I'm concerned, the show is both entertaining and philosophical and these are the most fascinating aspects of this TV series!
