Here are 4 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for English grammar practice, along with explanations (proofs) for each answer: ### **1. Which sentence is grammatically correct?** A) She don’t like apples. B) She doesn’t likes apples. C) She doesn’t like apples. D) She not like apples. **Answer: C) She doesn’t like apples.** **Proof:** The subject "She" is third-person singular, so the correct verb form is "doesn’t" (not "don’t"). The base form "like" should follow "doesn’t" (not "likes"). --- ### **2. Choose the correct sentence:** A) The dog wagged it’s tail. B) The dog wagged its tail. C) The dog wagged its’ tail. D) The dog wagged it tail. **Answer: B) The dog wagged its tail.** **Proof:** "Its" is the possessive form (showing ownership), while "it’s" means "it is" or "it has." "Its’" is not a valid word in English. --- ### **3. Which sentence uses the correct tense?** A) I have seen that movie yesterday. B) I saw that movie yesterday. C) I seen that movie yesterday. D) I have saw that movie yesterday. **Answer: B) I saw that movie yesterday.** **Proof:** "Yesterday" indicates a completed past action, so the simple past tense ("saw") is correct. The present perfect ("have seen") cannot be used with a specific past time. --- ### **4. Identify the correct sentence:** A) Neither John nor his friends is coming. B) Neither John nor his friends are coming. C) Neither John or his friends are coming. D) Neither John and his friends are coming. **Answer: B) Neither John nor his friends are coming.** **Proof:** When using "neither...nor," the verb agrees with the closest subject ("friends" is plural, so "are" is correct). "Or" and "and" are not used with "neither."

What's the reason why you are sending these MC questions and their answers to me?

I generally agree with all of that. But I would also say 1A is valid. It's a very common usage, albeit slang tone. So if you're going to disregard it, as if there's no merit in it, you should specify you're only interested in correct grammar for a formal tone.
