Hi :) I'm not sure what you meant by "It was like a dream". You are talking about what happened in a dream you had, so it is odd to say "it was like a dream". We use "It was like a dream" to describe something so amazing it was as if you were dreaming, as if it were not real life. But in this case you really were dreaming :) Perhaps you could describe how you enjoyed the dream instead, using for example "It was an amazing dream!" or "I wish it could come true!".
