It’s still freezing cold today. In the afternoon, my mom received (some) great news—my uncle will be visiting us soon. In addition, he will be taking us on a trip to Hong Kong and Macao, and he has already paid for everything! Regardless of whether he gambles or not, he is definitely a great guy to me. Unlike the last trip, this time we will be staying in a fancy hotel with private pools in our rooms. My dad truly has a generous brother, and I can't wait to meet this great uncle. (Nothing wrong with “great” here, but it could be confusing as a “great-uncle” is a brother of your grandfather or grandmother.)
