I ate Vietnamese food with my family last Sunday. We ordered pho and spring rolls which are famous Vietnamese dishes. My husband and I enjoyed the dishes so much as they smelled good and tasty.On the other hand,my daughters didn’t finish their plates. It was the first time for them to eat Vietnamese food and they are not used to the dishes. I think they will like it once they get used to it. It is easier for me to cook/give what they like to eat, but I should not do it. As a parent, I think I should encourage them to try new tastes.

I ate Vietnamese food with my family last Sunday. We ordered pho and spring rolls, which are famous Vietnamese dishes. My husband and I enjoyed the dishes so much as they smelled good and were tasty. On the other hand, my daughters didn’t finish their food. It was their first time eating Vietnamese food and they were not used to the dishes. I think they will like it once they get used to them. It is easier for me to cook for them what they like to eat, but I should not do it. As a parent, I think I should encourage them to try new tastes.
