Why Esperanto not used as an international language?

If you know anything about how languages work, you'd know that it would take considerably more effort to make it "the" international language that has been put into it. Languages don't spring out of nowhere - they are the product of many generations.
This is not to say that learning Esperanto would useless - it would help anyone making a study of multiple languages - much like learning Latin would help you if you wanted to learn Spanish and French, which both derive from Latin.
It takes considerable effort to get people to speak any language which is not their own.
Witness the fact that old English at one time was a language very close to German. When the French invaded in 1066, they tried to get everybody to speak French. The result was modern English - a language half-way between German and French.

Hi...
There have been numerous objections to Esperanto over the years. Among the critics, there are many opposing viewpoints. For example, there have been criticism that Esperanto is not neutral enough, but also that it should convey a specific culture, which would make it less neutral; that Esperanto does not draw on a wide enough selection of the world's languages, but also that it should be more narrowly Western European.

a language not only stands for a communication tools, but also represents a country's economy, politics and so many aspects,Esperanto is a artificial language, and doesn't have any such basis. And English-speaking countries expanded the areas of English through establishing colonies so that English results in affecting many countries.....

Esperanto is neither artificial nor a failure.
During a short period of 124 years Esperanto is now in the top 100 languages, out of 6,800 worldwide. It is the 22nd most used language in Wikipedia, ahead of Danish and Arabic. It is a language choice of Google, Skype, Firefox, Ubuntu and Facebook.
Native Esperanto speakers, (people who have used the language from birth), include World Chess Champion Susan Polger, Ulrich Brandenberg the new German Ambassador to and Nobel Laureate Daniel Bovet. Financier George Soros learnt Esperanto as a child.

Esperanto Wikipedia enjoys 400 000 hits per day. That can't be bad :)
