Verbs often add before what word? How to distingusih between the part of speech of word?
I think this will make it easier for me to remember the words.

Adverbs are the parts of speech that modify words that aren't nouns. So...they frequently appear after verbs:
"go quickly"
"dance beautifully"
"speak well"
In those examples, 'go', 'dance' and 'speak' are verbs, while the words following them are adverbs.
