What's mean about "the first couple'a times"?
"It's almost like the first couple'a times I felt it, I wasn't even aware it was an earthquake while it was happening." I don't know the meaning of "the first couple'a times". Who can explain it and translate the all sentence. Thanks a lot.

The first two times the earth shook, I did not notice anything.
"a couple" means two, but it is a little indefinite, so it might have been 2 or 3. The speaker was not really counting, so it might have been a "few times".
The earthquake was going on, and after a couple of tremors, he started feeling it and knew that there was an earthquake.
