Neither is correct. I clean the house before my parents get home. I manage to clean the house by the time my parents get home. I cleaned the house before my parents got home. I managed to clean the house by the time my parents got home. I have to clean the house by the time my parents get home. I hope this clarifies stuff.

1. I WILL have cleaned the house by the time my parents come home. (future perfect; happening before another event in the future, i.e., your parents coming home) 2. I have [already] cleaned the house. (present perfect; action continues into present or just completed) 3. I have the house clean by the time my parents come home. (simple present; habitual activity) "Clean" is being used as an adjective here. It describes the condition of the house.

Both are wrong! The correct sentences should be: 1. I had cleaned the house by the time my parents got home 2. I cleaned the house before my parents got home

There are other choices that would be better. I cleaned the house by the time my parents arrived back at home. I had cleaned the house by the time my parents returned home.
