The difference between -는 동안 and ~며/~(으)면서
I just googled around and figured there are two ways to express 'while' in korean.
verb + -는 동안
Would give me, for instance, 공부하는 동안 = while I study
But another way to put it is by using ~며/~(으)면서
Which would give me 공부하면서 = While I study .... if I'm not wrong...
Can anyone please tell me any distinct difference between the two :)
Thank you in advance!

1) (하)는 동안
* the two things are happening at the same time.

내가 점심을 먹는 동안 넌 수영을 하러 갈 수도 있어.
* If something happens while something else happens

2) verb + ~며 / ~(으)면서 / ~하면서
* while; as; during; at the same time (that)
-> you have to use same subject.

Thanks for your response Hailey! I noticed in your example, the difference between your two example english sentences is the word "while"... Although they kinda mean the same thing. Are you saying they are just the same? :)
