Hi, can someone please help me translate the following line from the song 好久不见.

走过你来时的路
zou guo ni lai shi de lu

I know what is is supposed to say. But when I use a dictionary I cant seem to understand why the sentence says what it does. I hope I am making sense.

This is what I can translate without cheating.

"Walk past you to arrive when road"

in the sentence “走过” is the verb means walk past， “你来时的”the four together  modify the noun 路（road）， so u should take them as a whole and can not see them separately~
so“你来时”means“ when you came here”，（which road did u choose to wander？）
