"Had spent" > "Having spent", "Have been" > "Being"
Hi everyone, would you please help me that is a confusion - "had spent" to be "having spent" and "have been friends" to be "being friends"?
we had spent nearly all our money. so we couldn't afford to stay in a hotel.
-> having spent nearly all our money, we couldn't afford to stay in a hotel.
we have been friends for years. it is quite easy to share secrets between us.
-> being friends for years, we find it quite easy to share secret.
Thanks!
