A Convenor is a person that organises/calls for a formal meeting. Convenor comes from the verb 'to convene' which means: meeting in a formal setting (example: a business meeting). Example: We will reconvene tomorrow morning. (This means: we will meet again tomorrow morning). Now, I'm not quite sure what kind of "aerial" you're talking about, this word can mean lots of different things and a bit of context would help, so I know whether you mean it as an adjective describing something, a noun related to a topic or a noun on its own. If you mean 'aerial' on it's own, then it means 'antenna' which is the metal thing you have on a radio to receive channels, this also used to be quite common for Television. Example: I cannot hear anything, there must be something wrong with the aerial. (Means: there must be something wrong with the radio's antenna). Hope it helps!
