You also could write, "Thank you for (your letter of November 5/contacting us) or "We deeply appreciate."

In business writing, ''thanks'' is a little too colloquial for emails. It's only appropriate if you already know the business contact quite well. So write out the expression fully, as Valeria has suggested.
