Love is in the eyes...doesn't matter about country or language, etc. Now, that's not to say that life is easy with someone you love from another place. Life can range from inconvenient to downright frustrating, but love does tend to make all the sacrifices worthwhile. At least, for a few years. :-)

I think it is rather hard to maintain our relationship inter-continent. There are a lot of possibilities that we have to consider: 1. Distance 2. Culture 3. Intensity I think, we have to consider those three possible factors to successively embedded in our 'time of date'.

I have seen people who have married people from other countries with English being the only common language with both of them hardly being able to speak English. Love knows no boundaries.

I think it is not easy to be in a relationship with somebody from another country. But if you work hard it should not be impossible. Things like different culture and background will present obstacles, but they can be overcome.　 用中文怎么说"to date somebody"?
