Espero con ansias el fin de semana.
Quiero que sea sábado ya.
Quiero que llegue luego el fin de semana
No veo la hora que sea sábado. ("No veo la hora que" = "I can't wait...")
"Qué ganas de que sea sábado"
We say "sábado" because it is the first day of weekend, so we usually use it to refer to the beginning of the weekend.

Las tres respuestas que veo son buenas, sólo comentarte que la forma coloquial de fin de semana se escribe y se pronuncia seguida "finde"
