I have troubles with the preposition "for" in Finnish.Which case-ending or pre/postposition is used?
I'm wondering how I should use "for" in the Finnish language. Is a particular case-ending or pre/postpositon used to imply "for"? Could you please help me with it? Thanks in advance!
For example:
I ate pasta for dinner/breakfast.
I'm learning it just for fun.
I've been living here for four years.
You should have academic studies for getting a good job.
You should be self-motivated for learning a new language.
You need to buy new wheels for your car.
I have to be well-prepared for my exam.
I have to control my budget for buying a new car.
I'd be extremely grateful, if you can help me.
Could you please give me more examples of it as well?
