in my understanding, to make it closer to the grammar pattern used in the Korean sentence, 나타샤라고 해요 would be directly translated - [they] say Nataša [to me]. the pattern ~라고 하다 is used for the indirect speech when you want to express someone else's words - 뭐? 뭐라고 했어?
