difference between 중 , 중에, 중에서
hi guys, korean learner here :D

i am wondering about the differences between 중 , 중에, 중에서 (among.. , of all ...)
i know what they mean and when they come up in a sentence i can understand them.
just i wanna know when to use which one, maybe someone has a great explanation.
it would help alot alot if you give an example for them too.

Answer

중 is short for 중의 or 중에 in colloquial language.
중에서 is used for expression of origin or selection.
중에 is used for other cases.

ex)
불행 중 다행이 아닐 수 없다.
하루 중 가장 견디기 어려운 순간이었다.

진흙 중에서 나온 연꽃
이 중에서 하나만 선택하세요

공기 중에 떠다니는 바이러스. 
여행하던 중에 만난 사람
