The latin romance languages sound the most pleasing to my ear: French, Spanish, and Italian. However, English is probably the most developed language in terms of total words and has a greater capacity for subtlety and art, because you have so many words from which to choose. I have heard from other non-native speakers that English is relatively easy to learn, so it has evolved to be a more utilitarian language. It doesn't sound particularly nice, but it has some things working in its favor.

Chinese. It's so beautiful baby! :) I love the sound of both Mandarin and Cantonese. I've heard lots of people say that they feel Cantonese is too loud and harsh - but I think it is so expressive. Such a shame that I find Cantonese sooooo hard to learn. All those tones!

It depends on what country I am in! I usually prefer English since it is my native language but I love speaking Spanish and German as well:)

Italian
