Normally you'd use a subclause with "dass" for the last part, so the verb is at the end: Ich möchte ein Bier zu (!) meinem (!) Steak, aber ich (!) wünschte (!), dass sie hier wäre (!). (I'd like a beer with my steak, but I'd wish that she was here. Is this supposed to make sense? :-)). However, in this case, you can replace the subclause with an "uneingeleiteter Nebensatz" (subclause without introduction, http://www.canoo.net/services/OnlineGrammar/Satz/Komplex/Funktion/Objekt/uneingeleitet.html?lang=en), and then the verb is in second position, as in a main clause: ... wünschte, sie wäre (!) hier.
