el pretérito indefenido i el pretérito perfecto "Ayer (llamar) tu hermana desde Buenos Aires. Dice que (tener) un calor horrible estas Navidades." I need to put the verbs in correct forms in one of the past tenses. First, i put "llamó", but after i saw "DICE", so i´m confused, cause it´s present tense. So what is the correct variant?

Ayer llamó tu hermana desde Buenos Aires. Dice que tiene un calor horrible estas navidades.

Well, I guess these could be your options. Me as a naiveté speaker, I could say it either both of these ways: "Ayer llamé a tu hermana desde Buenos Aires. Dice que tiene un calor horrible estas Navidades." Or. "Ayer llamé a tu hermana desde Buenos Aires. Dice que ha tenido un calor horrible estas Navidades."
