There is a collection of the most common words of the Russian language!
Good afternoon, or better ... Good night to you Russians!
I have more confidence in knowing that most of the rules at the start, gives me confidence to try to understand a text vocabulary. When studying English study for a book called "The Most Common Words in the English Language", I wonder if there is a free book on the internet with the most common words of the Russian language, with translation into English, because I believe that translated into Portuguese language not exist or must be pretty rare to find.
Take the space to ask the opinion of you. Believe that within four years, studying a little every day, I can understand and communicate with people from Russia? I have a very basic English, but I can understand materials in English ... The good thing is that in the Russian language learning alongside me learn English.
Thank you!

Yes, there is a course on memrise:
http://www.memrise.com/course/173195/10000-most-common-russian-words-part-1/
Or there is also a list available here:

To be honest I'm not completely convinced by the effectiveness of using frequency lists. You can also get a lot of everyday words with audio from here:

You could try www.memrise.com. I am not sure about Portuguese as basic language, but they have definitely most common Russian words for English students.
