Hi, Chinmoy. I'm Brazilian, so it's weird to give you tips on how to learn Portuguese quickly, because I didn't have to learn Portuguese, I acquired it as I grew up. But, in my opinion, I think all languages are learned in a similar way. I mean, not learned, but acquired. A language is something too complicated to be learned and memorized. You have to acquire it unconsciously, like children do. Your parents didn't need to give you classes about grammar and vocabulary. But nevertheless, you learnt it! So, my general tip for you would be to try to get as much exposure to Portuguese as possible. Grammar and vocabulary are important, otherwise you won't understand anything you're trying to listen to. But once you nail the basics of Portuguese, start listening to it whenever you can. You'll stop studying and learning it, and start unconsciously acquiring it. lerning quickly depends from person, one learn easily , other have more difficult. Don't have "method" to learn quickly. tips to learn - listen in portuguese, listen ,listen!! exerscise your ears, watch movies and vídeos in portuguese with subtitle when beginner after try watch without subtitle, read text , news or something you like in portuguese, write short texts, meet native on internet and try speak portuguese, study grammar and vocabulary (youtube is good ), listen musics and take a letter of music and try sing. try these way to learn and find the best way to you.

you need to learn the sounds of letters, learn to read faster ... And have to go searching for the meanings of words ...
