In Chinese, we often use the adjective to be the whole predicate, especially in the affirmative form.For exmaple, I was in excellent health/my body is fine 我的身体 很好。
As for the negative form, Chinese is like English. My body is not fine. 我的身体 不是 很好.  S + V + P.
