What are the verbs for: "to refuse", " to come " and "to bring"?
Hello friends,
I'm learning Levantine Arabic or اللهجة الشامية at my university from a native speaker of Arabic from Jordan. Although, my access to spoken Arabic is still limited. :(
I'm looking for Jordanian Arabic primarily, but other dialects are welcome to. :)
Also, could you please give me the "verbal noun" form of the word I would appreciate it greatly.
Thanks.

To refuse means يرفض (yarfud), to come means يأتي (ya'ti) and to bring means يحضر أو يجلب

to bring : (yohder)يجلب ، يحضر in Jordanien and Egyptian it's يجيب sounds different as in Egypt it's like " ygeeb " and in Jordanien it's like " yjeeb " for example " he will bring it "
it's " راح يجيبه " or "حيجيبه"
to come : . يحضر (yahdur) , يأتي , يجيء
in Jordan they use one is يجي without ء in Egypt it sounds different too as we stress on the last ي .
to refuse : يرفض
usually arabic people don't use it as يرفض we use unaccepting more which is in Jordan "ما قبل " " ما راح يقبل " ما here means not or no . in Egypt we say "ما قبلش " " مش هيقبل " ...
"مش " here means no or not ...
hope this could help you
