J'en peux plus I believe that the expression: J'en peux plus Means: I can't take it any more What word in that phrase makes it negative (can NOT)? Thanks

Plus is the negative. it should be written as suki said but french rarely put the "ne" . Plus affirmatif est prononcé " plusse" alors que plus négatif est prononcé "plu"

It should be 'Je n'en peux plus'. This is also explains where the negative is.
