Helen... Allow me to make a comment about the way you wrote your question. It would be better (more correct) to write "Who (not "what") is you favorite Chinese (always capitalized) star?" English speaking people in Canada do not see many Chinese movies, but my favorite stars are "Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, and Jet Li".
