I think the best method is to read a lot and then just start writing. I re-read what I wrote a few days later, then I can see clearly if something needs to be rewritten.

Think for yourself, work from your own life, and write about the crazy connections you personally see. Creative writing is somewhere in between the sensible step-by-step narrative of a newspaper story, and the indescribable craziness of a vivid dream.

I suggest reading literature.
