1) "Nature in my backyard." Even in the city, there are trees planted along the streets, flowers in peoples' gardens, parks, birds, butterflies... ants, houseflies, weeds (some of which are quite beautiful--do you have dandelions and dandelion puffs where you live). Choose three specific examples of plants or animals in your neighborhood that you know and write a little bit about them. 2) "Childhood misunderstandings." My brother was born on the Fourth of July, which is the Independence Day in the United States, celebrated by public displays of fireworks. He once admitted that when he was a little kid, he thought for a while that the fireworks were celebrating his birthday. Did an adult say something joking that he misinterpreted? I don't know. 3) "Crazy things my weird family does" that other families don't do.
